inSORS Installs IG System at the University of Wyoming

April 9, 2003

Laramie, WY --- inSORS Integrated Communications, Inc., a Chicago-based communications firm specializing in multipoint collaboration software technologies, has successfully deployed its inSORS Grid conferencing and collaboration solution at the University of Wyoming.

The inSORS Grid (IG) platform —designed to allow multiple locations to interact as one large group— combines advanced distributed-computing technologies with inSORS' Virtual Venue software to connect geographically dispersed groups of people within virtual room environments. These dynamic and scalable environments accommodate simultaneous interaction among disparate locations, creating the effect of all participants being together in a single location.

At the University of Wyoming the inSORS Grid node will offer both administrators and students the opportunity to instantaneously collaborate with colleagues from across the country and around the globe.
