inSORS Integrated Communications, Inc. (Chicago, www.insors.com) ("inSORS") announced the issue of U.S. Patent No. 6,937,575 (“the ‘575 patent”) on August 30, 2005. inSORS is a leading provider of “whenever” and “wherever” communications software and systems, including the inSORS Grid 2.
Titled "Method of Providing Intra-Company Two Way Voice Communications Over a Data Network", the ‘575 patent is directed to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technologies. “Since the ‘575 patent was filed in 1999, the implementation of VoIP has grown exponentially,” said Mike Galich, CEO of inSORS. “The current widespread use of VoIP will lead to significant licensing opportunities for the ‘575 patent.”
