UIC chooses inSORS for Chicago Biomedical Consortium Project
June 28, 2005
( Chicago, IL) The University of Illinois at Chicago has deployed an inSORS Grid node to have immersive collaborations with other members of the Chicago Biomedical Consortium (CBC). Other consortium members include the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, and Argonne National Laboratory. The CBC will promote growth in the biomedical field and aims to make the Chicago area a magnet for biomedical research. The inSORS Grid technology will make it easier for the distributed membership to collaborate on a regular basis and thus lead to a faster discovery and dissemination process.
