CHICAGO, IL --- inSORS Integrated Communications, Inc., a Chicago-based communications solutions provider offering enterprise-scale video, audio, and data products and services, has implemented its inSORS Grid conferencing and collaboration solution at the University of California at Davis.

The inSORS Grid (IG) is inSORS' interactive, multimedia conferencing and collaboration system. The IG is an IP- and multicast- based product that joins video, audio, and data streams in real time for the purposes of communicating, training, educating, and marketing from within high-end virtual video conferencing rooms that accommodate 100s of participants from over 30 locations.

At the University of California, Davis, the inSORS Grid node will offer both administrators and students the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from across the country and around the globe. Further, this node will provide an important Access Grid link within the west coast university community and the National Partnership for Advanced Computational Infrastructure (NPACI) organization.
