inSORS Delivers Custom Venue
and Bridging Solution for UCAR

Chicago, IL --- inSORS Integrated
Communications, Inc., a Chicago-based communications firm that
develops, markets, and supports collaboration software and solutions,
is delivering a custom venue system along with a network bridging
solution to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research
(UCAR) in Boulder, Colorado. UCAR is an NSF funded organization
with 66 members and 20 academic affiliated institutions. Other
sponsors include the NOAA, the DoD, NASA, the EPA, and the DOE.
UCAR has three main campuses in and around Boulder.
The IG platform provides
an innovative, state-of-the-art conferencing and collaboration
solution that offers complete IP-based, full-duplex audio, 30
frame-per-second video, and total data interaction/sharing capabilities
among anywhere from two to 30 locations.
The custom venue will
be hosted on the inSORS network and provides UCAR the ability
to conduct up to 10 virtual meetings simultaneously in private
secure rooms. Additionally, UCAR has the ability to connect with
over 200 organizations throughout the world that have enabled
the same technology. The network bridging solution that will reside
on UCAR's network provides uni-cast connectivity for UCAR sites
that do not have a multicast enabled network.
The inSORS solution
provides easy and stable access for UCAR and its partners. With
the increased interest in weather and atmospheric research, the
inSORS solution can be a valuable communication tool for those
in remote locations. Additionally, this technology can assist
the research staff with remote analysis and evaluations, along
with collaboration with experts from around the world.
