University of Illinois TRECC Outfitted with Portable IG Node

Chicago, IL --- inSORS Integrated Communications, Inc., a Chicago-based communications firm that develops, markets, and supports collaboration software and solutions, has upgraded the University of Illinois' Technology Research, Education, and Commercialization Center (TRECC) with a portable Access Grid node running on inSORS Grid software.

The upgraded node includes multiple hardware additions and/or adjustments made to existing infrastructure. The node will run on the inSORS Grid (IG) platform, which consists of software that provides an innovative, state-of-the-art conferencing and collaboration solution within a completely IP-based, full-duplex audio, 30 frame-per-second video, and total data interaction/sharing environment. Further, the IG is capable of connecting anywhere from two to 30 locations.
