New Jersey Institute of Technology Solution Implemented; NYU Pending

Chicago, IL-- inSORS Integrated Communications, Inc., a collaboration software developer specializing in multipoint enterprise communications, has delivered an inSORS Access Grid (IG) software/hardware conferencing solution for the New Jersey Institte of Technology (NJIT). NJIT technical staff will install the necessary components and plans to be live for an early January, 2004 meeting.

NJIT will deploy inSORS grid solutions in 2-3 conference/classrooms to provide flexibility in scheduling meetings using the technology and connecting to other university sites. "The NJIT staff had existing computer equipment and audio/visual components that allowed them to create several capable inSORS Grid nodes," said Jim Miller, President, inSORS Research and Education Sector. "We designed a custom solution that would utilize the existing equipment and get the best use of the technology without sacrificing the quality of the events."

New York University has also selected a custom solution provided by inSORS. With a planned implementation in January, 2004, NYU required a mobile yet durable solution. "Unlike some sites that like to move the inSORS Grid node from one room to another within a building," noted Miller, "NYU needed a solution that could be moved from building to building." inSORS designed a travelling case to easily move the inSORS Grid while protecting it as it is rolled about the streets of Manhattan.

inSORS, based in Chicago with operations in Boston and New York, develops, markets, and supports enterprise collaboration software and solutions that enable multiple groups and individuals to collaborate via audio, video, and data modes of interaction.

The inSORS Grid solution provides an innovative, state-of-the-art conferencing and collaboration software platform. inSORS Grid solutions include client and venue software, documentation and technical support, and a comprehensive range of professional services including installation, network consulting, and training. inSORS also offers custom configurations and private venues.
