Jersey Institute of Technology Solution Implemented; NYU Pending
NJIT will deploy inSORS grid solutions in 2-3 conference/classrooms to provide flexibility in scheduling meetings using the technology and connecting to other university sites. "The NJIT staff had existing computer equipment and audio/visual components that allowed them to create several capable inSORS Grid nodes," said Jim Miller, President, inSORS Research and Education Sector. "We designed a custom solution that would utilize the existing equipment and get the best use of the technology without sacrificing the quality of the events." New York University has also selected a custom solution provided by inSORS. With a planned implementation in January, 2004, NYU required a mobile yet durable solution.
