inSORS participates in NCREN Community Day 2006
December 8, 2006
(RTP, NC) inSORS Communications, a collaboration software and solutions provider, is proud to announce its participation in the NCREN Community Day event being held December 7th and 8th at the MCNC Campus in Research Triangle Park, NC. The NCREN event is being held to showcase the multitude of leading conferencing tools available via the high speed research network connecting all of North Carolina’s universities and colleges. The inSORS Grid 2 or “IG2” is a software based multi-point video, audio, and data sharing system. inSORS intends to use the event to highlight the IG2’s scalability and grid-like architecture. The IG2 is the only system currently available that seamlessly scales from the desktop to full room based endpoints. The IG2 uses a grid-enabled server architecture that also encourages usage on low bandwidth sites as well as fiber optic connected sites. See below for further information on both inSORS and the NCREN Community Day event.
