March 1, 2001

CHICAGO, IL --- inSORS Integrated Communications, Inc., a communication solutions provider specializing in real time video, audio and data collaboration, and ISBE, the Statewide school board, are deploying a two-site pilot of the inSORS Grid (IG) Collaborative Conferencing System at the Medill Technical Hub in Chicago. The IG platform will be used in conjunction with on going teacher training which is held throughout the statewide school system. Upon success, more sites will be integrated into the inSORS' solution.

ISBE is responsible for approximately 35,000 teachers in its statewide public and private system. Shirley Berry, the Director of the Area 7 Learning Technologies Hub, will spearhead the initiative for ISBE. "I am very excited about our pilot with inSORS' IG product for use in training ISBE teachers from distant locations. In addition to allowing us to understand the technology, we can now reach more participants in a shorter period of time." Director Berry also commented on the importance of ongoing teacher training and how the IG will dramatically simplify the programs currently being offered.

inSORS considers ISBE an extremely important and strategic customer in its efforts to bring the IG Distance Learning and Collaborative Conferencing System to the distance learning market. "ISBE and its partner CPS (Chicago Public Schools) are considered two of the top institutions in the learning technology arena", said Michael Galich, President and CEO of inSORS. "Their commitment to improving their teachers through continuing education is well known throughout the education industry. Their work with the IG will lend ultimate credibility to inSORS."

The IG is a cutting edge collaborative conferencing and distance learning system. It is comprised of the latest video and audio components and has been tested for two years in the research and university communities. The IG has been commercially developed by inSORS to be used in the Real Time Collaboration market, the corporate training market, as well as the distance education market. It is comprised of both hardware and software, and has additional features such as scheduling, archiving and record and playback. The IG can also be delivered as a hosted application through inSORS' virtual venue service platform.
