inSORS unveils new IG Software
IG v5: Visual Collaboration in an Instant
Ease of scheduling and instantaneous connection
with others seen as key features

CHICAGO, October 1, 2004 - After recording its largest number of orders processed in September, inSORS Integrated Communications has opened up October with even bigger news. Scheduled for November 1 production release, inSORS unveiled the newest version 5 of its multimedia and collaboration software.

Labeled IGv5: Visual Collaboration in an instant, the inSORS Grid v5 boasts an easy to use menu that can be accessed from the system tray. Instant meetings can be created and invitations can be sent immediately online or through email. All users that are active in the inSORS Grid v5 system are shown as either online, away or in another session. IG v5 creates instant access to your entire project group.

An enhanced set of IG Tools also accompanies version 5. inSORS has improved its integration capabilities with IG Dialer. IG Dialer allows for easy connectivity to h323 devices as well as phones through its VoIP gateway. Multiple devices and/or phones can be connected into one meeting.

Other new tools include IG File for file transfers, and IG Whiteboard for interactive multipoint collaboration.

inSORS also enhanced the IGWeb data sharing application as well as the IG Recorder tool.

inSORS plans to follow up this strong package with v5.5 which will feature improved audio and video codecs. These enhancements are due at the beginning of the year.
