inSORS Completes Successful infoCOMM Exhibition
Collaboration Software Firm Shines at A-V Industry Event
Chicago, IL June 22, 2007 – inSORS is pleased to announce a successful debut at infoComm 2007 in Anaheim, CA. infoComm 2007 has been billed as the largest and most successful audio-visual industry event in history with industry growth fueling a record number of exhibitors and attendees. inSORS maintained a booth in the Collaborative Technologies pavilion and also had presence in Starin Marketing booth. Starin is a leading inSORS distributor.
Jim Magrini, inSORS National Channel Manager, was pleased with the number of potential re-sellers who stopped by for a demo. “When the VTC integrator shops sat through a demo of the inSORS collaborative software solutions, they were blown away with our video quality and immersive tool feature set” said Magrini. Sales Manager Jerry Leary also had heavy foot traffic at the inSORS booth in the Collaborative Pavilion. To show off the inSORS solution scalability, inSORS Engineer Nate Scheidler roamed the exhibit floor with a hand held Sony PC connected by a Sprint Wi-Max card and performed multipoint video conferences for interested passersby.

infoComm International® released preliminary figures showing record participation at infoComm 07, the largest annual conference and exhibition for audiovisual buyers and sellers worldwide, in Anaheim, June 19 - 21, 2007. Reflecting strong demand for AV communications technologies in business, education and government as well as the retail, healthcare, entertainment, worship and residential markets, attendance at the exhibition so far has topped 31,600. AV professionals from more than 80 countries attended to see the latest technologies in display, projection, audio, collaborative conferencing, control and networking applications. This reflects an 18.4 percent increase over last year’s record attendance. A record 855 exhibitors participated at infoComm this year, representing an 11 percent increase over the previous record of 770 in 2006. Exhibitors occupied 465,000 net square feet of exhibit and special events space, compared to 432,602 net square feet in 2006. There were 180 new exhibitors at this year's show.
