Chicago company offers powerful room level multimedia conferencing
product based on Argonne National Laboratory's Grid Project

CHICAGO, IL --- inSORS Integrated Communications, Inc., an integrator of voice, video and data products and services, announced today that it has begun commercialization of a product which will change the way people interact across distances. The inSORS Grid (IG), inSORS' prototype, is based on the Grid product which has been developed over the last several years in the Futures Lab of Argonne National Laboratory's Math and Computer Sciences Division.

"The IG will allow customers to collaborate with their peers without traveling." said Michael Galich, president and CEO of inSORS. "Additionally, the IG takes distance learning to the next level."


inSORS plans to offer the IG as a distance learning solution to school systems and training organizations. Additionally, the IG will be presented to the large enterprise as a high end video conferencing system which will improve communication and productivity among remote sites as well as a method to reduce training and travel costs.

inSORS to offer turnkey installation and support to current Grid community
inSORS also plans to offer installation and support services to the existing and growing Grid community, which consists of universities and research institutions worldwide. "As the community is expanding quickly, so to is its need for support," said Mike Stanton of inSORS. "Our extensive experience with the Grid product allows us to offer turnkey installations together with post-installation training and support.
