Greensboro, NC --- inSORS Integrated
Communications, Inc., a Chicago-based communications firm that
develops, markets, and supports collaboration software and solutions,
has delivered its unique inSORS Grid (IG) H323 bridge to East
Carolina University.
The IG platform provides an innovative,
state-of-the-art conferencing and collaboration solution that
offers complete IP-based, full-duplex audio, 30 frame-per-second
video, and total data interaction/sharing capabilities among anywhere
from two to 30 locations. The H323 Bridge allows for IG nodes
to connect and interact with existing H323 based videoconferencing
systems.
East Carolina University has deployed
several inSORS Grid nodes already and looked to inSORS for a solution
so that users of inSORS Grid nodes could communicate with sites
using H323 based videoconferencing systems. inSORS successfully
deployed the IG H323 Bridge for East Carolina and provided training
for users.
Utilizing the IG H323 Bridge, East
Carolina can now connect to many sites within their campuses but
also to many K-12 institutions that they are collaborating with
on various projects.
