Chicago, IL - inSORS Integrated Communications, Inc., a collaboration software developer specializing in multi-point corporate communications, has installed a complete software/hardware conferencing solution for Covisint, LLC, of Southfield, Michigan.

One inSORS Grid Gold room and one inSORS Grid Bronze room were installed on the Covisint network, with one in Southfield, MI at Covisint's headquarters, and the other in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, at Covisint's European headquarters.

Michigan-based Covisint is a business-to-business exchange for the automotive industry. Michael Galich, inSORS' CEO, is pleased with the Covisint operation. "Covisint's implementation of the inSORS Grid is a prime example of a successful organization utilizing video and audio collaboration technology to speed its processes and efficiencies through best-of-breed applications and infrastructure."

With its inSORS Grid solution, Covisint is now able to hold trans-Atlantic meetings that can be instantaneous or scheduled, can accommodate anywhere from two to 40 participants, and that include full-duplex audio, 30 frame-per-second video, and complete data-sharing capabilities between locations. The inSORS Grid architecture is also scalable to 30 sites, giving Covisint the option to increase the reach of its communications at any time by adding endpoints.

"The implementation of the inSORS Grid system enables us to conduct meetings virtually with our European Headquarters associates without the cost and time involved in flying across the Atlantic every time we need to get together," said Mark Duhaime, Covisint's Vice President of New Business Development. "It's perfect for the large conference meetings we conduct every week."

inSORS, based in Chicago with operations in Boston and New York, develops, markets, and supports enterprise collaboration software and solutions that enable multiple groups and individuals to collaborate via audio, video, and data modes of interaction.
