Parkinson Delivers Wainhouse Australia Keynote Using IOCOM

IOCOM Reports Highly Successful Sydney Summit

February 20, 2007 // Chicago/Sydney - IOCOM announces another successful Wainhouse Summit. IOCOM was a Gold Sponsor of the Sydney, Australia summit and the IOCOM team showed its truly international footprint by bringing in remote participants from all over the globe. “Participants from Australia and New Zealand were impressed with our ability to bring in multiple sites from around the world on a software based platform. There was a large Asian customer base in attendance as well”, said IOCOM’s Brian Gleason.

IOCOM advisor John Parkinson also gave a presentation on “Conferencing in the 21st Century”. John gave his presentation via the IOCOM system from a room based system in the downtown Chicago IOCOM headquarters. The topic was well received and ended in some lively Q & A.

IOCOM had a prominent booth in the demo area provided by Wainhouse. IOCOM demonstrated both a dual-display room based system and a laptop version of the flagship IOCOM software solution. Presentations on how the IOCOM software works seamlessly between the various form factors were given throughout the Summit. Our assembled team also gave both live and recorded demonstrations of the complete IOCOM solution.

During the hour long and well attended workshop, speakers Brian Gleason of IOCOM and Kim Kimenkowski and George Travan of JumboVision gave an immersive demonstration of the technology by connecting with two remote sites in Australia and also the IOCOM home office in Chicago. The workshop topic was on the following agenda:

True Productivity Enhancements for both Distance Meetings and Distance Learning

Further, Gleason also participated in a panel discussion on issues facing customers and providers.
