July 10, 2008 // Chicago, IL – For IOCOM, a developer and marketer of advanced visual collaboration software, the recent infoComm 2008 event in Las Vegas, Nevada was a great success. Record crowds at this year’s show, coupled with Nextcomm, allowed IOCOM’s advanced collaboration software technology to gain exposure to many industry professionals. Audio/visual distributor Starin Marketing also helped educate potential customers and interested re-sellers as their booth showcased IOCOM technology with demos and daily presentations.
Telepresence led this year's hot topics at infoComm's Collaborative Technologies Pavilion. Appropriately, IOCOM demonstrated the latest in their advanced Hi-Definition Telepresence technology at its booth. IOCOM show staff impressed the crowd with a triple-plasma, multiple camera IOCOM Grid (IG) telepresence system. The IG provided views of both standard and Hi-Definition cameras running simultaneously in the same Visual Communication session with multiple end-points. Also on display were laptops and ultra-mobile PCs running fully functional collaboration sessions over Wi-Max wireless cellular connections.
IOCOM also featured in a daily 15 minute expose at Starin Marketing’s booth. Starin representatives featured an IOCOM system at their 50 x 50 booth, running a continuous loop of recorded Visual Communication sessions. The Starin sales team introduced numerous customers, a/v re-sellers and video conferencing providers to the IOCOM booth for more extensive discussion regarding IOCOM technology.
