September 15, 2008 // Dalian, China – A new IOCOM visual communication system recently went live at the DongBei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) in Dalian, China. The system will be used as part of the DUFE-Surrey International Institute (SII) academic partnership, which partners DUFE with the University of Surrey in Guildford, Surrey, UK. The program offers both Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees in the professional fields of Management and Computing and provides students the opportunity to study in both China and the UK. Both campuses will be using IOCOM systems to strengthen and further their connection and collaborative efforts.
IOCOM Executive Vice President Jim Miller was in Dalian to oversee the integration of the system and to prepare both sites for the official kickoff of the collaboration systems on September 24th.
About DongBei University of Finance and Economics

Surrey International Institute (SII) The DUFE-Surrey International Institute (SII) is an academic partnership institution between Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) in Dalian, China, and the University of Surrey (Surrey) in Guildford, Surrey, UK. This institution was established in 2006, based on more than four years' academic cooperation between the DUFE and Surrey.
