With over 25 years of experience in computer networking, software development, hardware, and systems integration, Mr. Swanson has architected and implemented much of the IG product suite. He is the inventor of several inSORS patents pending.

Before joining inSORS, Mr. Swanson was the Northeast Regional VPN and Remote Access Specialist for 3Com Corporation. In this capacity he designed and implemented VPN solutions for carrier customers, assisted with the design and rollout of 3Com's corporate VPN access solution, and worked closely with major ISPs including AOL, Sprint, and UUNET. Prior to 3Com, Mr. Swanson was a founder of JavaNet, a regional internet service provider that has since been purchased by RCN.

Mr. Swanson designed, implemented, and managed a regional internetwork and network operations center for JavaNet, facilitated the analysis, purchase, and integration of other ISP networks, and worked closely with carriers to optimize performance and reliability. He has additional background in software development, quality assurance, and publishing.

Mr. Swanson received a BS in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
