Professor Stevens serves as the Associate Laboratory Director for Computing and Life Sciences at Argonne National Laboratory, as well as the Chair of the NSF STARTAP Advisory Committee.  Prof. Stevens is also a Committee Member of the Open Source Software for HPC PITAC Subcommittee, and a member of the University of Chicago's Computer Science Department and Division Director of its Mathematics and Computer Science Division.
