Since the early 1980s, Dr. Spencer has developed extensive background and experience in computer programming, training, and systems administration. As Director of Computer Literacy at Baker University, Dr. Spencer has designed courses in computer applications, written and published class materials, and trained faculty and staff in the use of technological tools in the classroom. She continues to extend technology training to the Baker community via targeted workshops and individualized instruction with particular emphasis on using information technology appropriately in academic disciplines.
